Caldera is a progressive groove metal band from Eindhoven, Netherlands, writing heavy, dynamic music that balances precision with emotion. Their sound moves between tight rhythmic intensity and expansive melodic passages, blending groove metal weight with progressive depth. With the addition of rock-driven vocals influenced by Tool, Pearl Jam, and Alice in Chains, the band is expanding its sonic range while keeping instrumental interplay at the center of its identity. Drawing inspiration from bands like Toska and Gojira, Caldera is steadily building its presence in the local heavy scene, including a recent outdoor performance organized alongside Eindhoven’s Effenaar.
